Hello readers, my name is Mitch. I am just going to start by saying there comes a time in a person's life when they decide to live for the moment and go BIG. They realize it's time to swim out from the safety of the shallows into the unknown of the deep. They realize it's time for a change, time to see a new sunset and grand horizon. Say goodbye to their friends and family and move out of their comfort zone. Throw caution to the wind and say screw it, today I will do something fun and crazy and different! NOT whenever I get around to it. NOT a year or two from now. NOT when I feel comfortable. NOT sometime but NOW. That is exactly what my girlfriend Juliana and I decided to do. We decided we are NOT going to look back 60 years from now and say just once I wish, I should have, I could have done something truly Epic. I am writing this two days away from boarding a one-way flight out of sweet home Chicago for the adventure of a lifetime in the tropics of South East Asia. We planned for 6 months but who knows we might just end up staying over there ; ) We are bound for Denpasar, Bali and plan on working our way through Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Ours will be a trip for the ages. Our motto on this adventure: Everybody dies but not everybody truly lives.
This is our story.
